Liz practices traditional Mexican holistic medicine which she’ll be bringing to Ann’s Apothecary in this 2 1/2 hour lecture “The Curandera’s Basic Medicine Bag.” She will discuss 5-6 different herbs that are used most frequently. Included will be aspects of ceremony, which is huge in the Curandera’s tradition. Not just honoring the Earth but also demonstrating how these herbs are used in clearing

If you attended the first series and are interested in learning more, Liz will be incorporate new herbs and information in this series and each after. Each class in the series will be complimentary to the others and new information will be included.

Liz Guerra (Studio Kanta) is a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, Curandera, birth and death doula, as well as spiritual (mind, body, spirit) educator.

Always feeling a pull towards the spiritual/energy connection of life, Liz decided to open her life to the intention if learning holistic (connection of mind, body, spirit) work to create space for her own healing, as well as sharing the knowledge and experiences with others. Along the way, a deep relationship with plants and their supportive medicine began.

Working with healers in different backgrounds for several years in New Mexico, a deep connection grew with the medicine of Curanderismo, healing arts of Mexico and Central America.

Combining work with Spirit, simple ceremony, and plant medicine, Liz helps others gain forward movement on their own journeys.
